Dr. Alan Khadavi serves the greater Los Angeles area as an experienced allergist. Dr. Khadavi assists both adult and pediatric patients who suffer from chronic allergies, asthma, and other respiratory conditions.

Alan Khadavi, M.D., has a host of certifications, awards, degrees, and scientific research experience to back up his work as an allergy doctor. However, his true strength is clearly seen through his bedside manner with which he administers treatments. It is this deep concern for patients that sets him apart.

In addition to his clear understanding of allergy triggers and how they occur within the body, Dr. Khadavi also takes special care to understand his patients suffering and how best to alleviate it. No two patients are alike, and therefore require specialized treatments. Dr. Khadavi takes this customized approach with each of his patients.

In order to consistently provide the highest quality of patient care, Dr. Khadavi makes it a priority to attend frequent medical education programs. These programs keep him up-date on the latest advancements within the medical field, which he then embodies in his own practice. His concern for the local community has also motivated him to participate in frequent education health fairs that provide detailed information about the causes and risks associated with allergens.

Alan Khadavi, M.D., received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, graduating magna cum laude. He was named a member of the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society. He then graduated from medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn.

Dr. Khadavi completed his pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital in New York, and then went on to complete his allergy and immunology fellowship at Long Island College Hospital. He is a pediatric allergy specialist, (pediatric allergist) by completing a pediatric residency and an allergy and immunology fellowship.  He is board-certified in both adult and pediatric allergy/immunology.

He has been cited in nationwide journals and has even participated in research and drug trials. He also teaches medical students and residents about current allergy care and treatment.

Dr. Khadavi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, is both a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI); and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).  In 2015, Dr. Khadavi passed the American Board of Allergy & Immunology Maintenance of Certification examination. Exemplifying his continuous learning experience that serves as a public assurance of his qualification and dedication to the standards of care.
